She’s following her acclaimed role in Hustlers with the romantic comedy Marry Me.
And Jennifer Lopez stopped by CBS Morning with her costar Maluma last week to chat up the new film with co-host Gayle King in a segment that aired Wednesday.
The 52-year-old actress and singer looked gorgeous in a classic gray dress that contrasted the far more casual Colombian singer–songwriter.

Jennifer looked effortlessly elegant in her pleated charcoal dress, which featured short sleeves to highlight her fit arms.
The look buttoned up over her torso and featured a long pleated skirt with a black lining.
The Waiting For Tonight singer paired her old-school dress with a similarly classic hairdo by styling her caramel-colored locks into thick curls resting majestically over her shoulders.
Her hair was swept away to frame her impeccably made-up face, and she added some extra sparkle with fruit-shaped diamond earrings.

She accessorized with a bracelet with diamond-encrusted butterflies, and added some chic black stilettos that wrapped around her ankles.
Maluma was more relaxed in a white graphic T-shirt showing off his tattoos and a black vest, along with tan shorts and black shoes with colorful socks.
Jennifer noted that she used to visit the studio when it was the home of MTV’s Total Request Live (TRL), and that she still remembered the layout.
Fittingly, Gayle decided to embarrass her with a clip from 1999 of the actress dropping by TRL to chat with Carson Daly.
In the sweet video, she praised her mother ‘and how hard she worked,’ calling her an ‘inspiration to me as a Latina woman,’ which was ‘probably the best thing I could have ever had.’

Maluma delighted in the clip, but he got a taste of his own medicine when Gayle played a clip of him that he said was probably shot when he was only 15.
Jennifer noted that her TRL appearance came after she was already established as an in-demand actress with acclaimed roles in Selena and Out Of Sight opposite George Clooney.
She noted that it was ‘taboo for an actress to want to make music or be considered a legitimate recording artist,’ but she ‘wanted to do both.’
Later, Gayle noted how much she and others were desiring a big romantic comedy.
She asked Jennifer if she thought of herself as a ‘hopeless romantic’ because of how many rom-coms she had starred in, but she said she was more of a ‘hopeful romantic.’
The actress said she brought some of her personal experiences to Marry Me, and sympathized with her characters habit of getting in her own way when it came to romances.
In the film, she plays a pop star who plans to get married at one of her concerts to her fiancé (Maluma), but she decides against it after learning just before the ceremony that he has been cheating on her.
